U.S. officials have subpoenaed information on the social media website Twitter about Julian Assange and several other prominent people connected to WikiLeaks, an Icelandic lawmaker also named in the documents said Saturday.
U.S. Federal court has ordered Twitter to provide information for each account which registered to Assange.
The order asks for subscriber names, user names, screen names, mailing addresses, residential addresses and connection records along with other information linked to the accounts.

The Stockholm Criminal Court on Thursday issued an international arrest warrant for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on probable cause, saying he is suspected of rape, sexual molestation and illegal use of force.
